I seek advice as to technology and/or products for an application.
There is an entry gate. People who arrive at the gate need to be
authorized
to be let in. The person who will do the authorizing will not be at the
gate. I envision an application where someone arrives at the gate, and
will
be on-camera. When a button at the gate is pushed, the camera (or pc with
the camera) would dial the authorizer and send a snapshot OR video from
the
camera to the authorizer's cell phone so he can see the person at the gate
to determine whether he should be admitted. (For the moment, ignore the
question of how the authorizer causes the gate to be opened.)
What kind of products/technology/protocols are necessary to do this job?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
