There are hundreds of GSM phones on the market.
You need a THIN one. Thin ones do not tend to be the cheapest. But I
like my original first series Motorola Razr V3. It is very thin.
Ebay sells it for 130$ or so UNLOCKED usable for all networks!
Or the Motorola L2 silver. Very thin. Unlocked for just 90$.
Both are quadband and usable in ALL GSM networks.

It does not matter, that you are a Verizon customer. Just put your
Verizon SIM card into the unlocked GSM phone and thats it.
