My current Cell Phone Contract will be up on July 14th. I would like
to get a higher speed internet and am thinking of adding internet
access with my next cell phone contract. Right now, my PC gets only
24.0 Kbps.
I have checked into a few cell phone companies and I can either get a
card (I guess it is a cellular modem card) for my PC the usually runs
about $59.00 for unlimited access no matter which company I use or
Alltel has a system that will let me tether (sp?) my cell phone to the
PC and use it as a modem. The Alltel tethering system only costs
$25.00 a month for unlimited access.
If anyone has anything to say about the tethering system, I would be
greatful if you would post you comments.
