I know why.....You're in a DEAD ZONE with allowable in-market roaming,
Claude. Alltel needs a new cellsite. The only alternative, at the moment
is to keep roaming or have no service....not much of a choice.
You can boost this issue a lot by doing a little personal legwork trying
to
find out how big an area around Sutton Machine this phenomenon is
occuring.
If you show some interest like this, I've gotten calls from Alltel's
network people asking me how big I find the problem was. This little
partner****p in a friendly, non-hostile atmosphere, got me a new cell on a
shared tower to fill in the hole. Problem solved! Works great now. I
went from 2 bars to 4 bars. They can also move the antennas to radiate
more power into the dead area, at almost no cost as they are already
paying
the technicians that do it in some places.
It doesn't look for Sprint until it's completely lost Alltel's signal.
Must be pretty bad.....
