A few weeks ago, I had a temper tantrum over dropped connections and
times the inability to connect.
I would like to be fair to Alltel and re****t that they apparently have
fixed the problem, which was really caused by Sprint software, which
Alltel uses as a result of their roaming agreement.
At any rate, for the past several days, I have had no drops for as long
as 24 hours. Since I connect with a laptop which rarely stays in one
place longer than 24 hours, those 24 hour connections were terminated by
me, not by a drop.
So it looks like Alltel is fixing the problem.
