I don't think they are inflating their billing practices (although I
would not rule that out) but it also depends on which route the
Carrier is taking for you to access these pages. For example with
Cingular I launch right off of the WAP deck without any issues, but
with other carriers they may take a different DNS route prior to
connecting you to the site. So, the best thing to do is to call and
see what they can tell you on how they access the web pages.
