Symbian is the SE equivalent of Windows mobile (i.e. "smartphone" 
technology). SE actually implement something called UIQ which is a re-jig
of 
Symbian, look up ones such as the W960 and the P1i.
Other Symbian non-UIQ phones are Nokia ones like the N95. You could also 
wait till later in the year when the Xperia X1 comes out which will be 
Windows Mobile based.
