Finally figured out how to get ring tones on to my Razr with the
24.1_01.19.07 SW . Follow the guide here -

I had one problem with using the P2kCommander version listed on the
site with my Vista machine. So I went to
http://linux.softpedia.com/progDownload/P2kCo
mmander-Download-32586.html and got the 4.9.0 version and it worked
like a charm . I also used Audacity to cut an MP3 to about 15 seconds
and used it as my new ringtone. P2kCommander is a little tough to work
with in that it requires you to "refresh" the file you are looking at
when you upload files. But it only took a couple of minutes to figure
it out. I'm assuming this would work for uploading wallpaper as well
but I haven't tried it.
Just as a disclaimer - I don't fault Verizon for selling all this
stuff after all they are there to make money. But we should have the
option to do it our selves without having to screw around and spend
hours trying to find the information . Just let us decide, it's our
phone - isn't it?
