UK bought phone using in the Philippines

Hi all,
       I have been looking on the Nokia website but did not see any answer
to my queries.

I have a Nokia 3310 mobile phone, yes it is old now, but wondered if it
would be able to work in the
Philippines if a local card was put in it.

I wanted to have an idea before suggesting it,
