There must be dozens of 74-logic families. What's the difference

by "Norm Dresner" <ndrez@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 10, 2003 at 12:06 AM

The last time I did any serious low-level digital hardware design there
were
TTL parts like 74xx, 74Hxx, 74Sxx, 74LSxx, and 74Cxx. Now a quick scan of
one catalog reveals AC, ACT, AHC, ALS, AS, C, F, FCT, HC, HCT, S, TTL, and
about a dozen more that only had a few parts each.

Is there a single source -- preferably a web-site -- that provides a good
summary of the main differences between these product lines. I'm looking
especially for information like voltage levels, drive capability & input
loading, interoperability, etc

TIA
    Norm
