Re: Optimization of mutual information between two images

Link seems quite relevant.
But in my case, both images i.e test and the reference are known and
optimization is done over the translational and rotational parameters that
can align the two images.The additional information is the linear
measurements/projection for the test image.I dont know whether this
additional information is useful for putting into the optimization
problem.
