Profiling on a SHARC21369 using Analog Devices' VisualDSP++

by Randy Yates <yates@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 2, 2008 at 09:22 AM

The do***entation states that simulations use "linear profiling"
while emulation requires "statistical profiling." I understand
that, but isn't there a simple cycle counter that can be reset
from VisualDSP++ that would allow a simple measure of total
cycles consumed from point A to point B (via breakpoints)?
