Linux and cygwin version of espresso

by Ed Beroset <beroset@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 25, 2007 at 05:24 PM

I have recently downloaded and revised the source code of espresso (from
here http://embedded.eecs.berkeley.edu/pubs/downloads/
) and updated it
to compile and run under either Linux or cygwin. I also added a new
output format, similar to eqntott which I called eqntex that simply
outputs the algebraic version of the equations in a form that's directly
im****table into LaTeX. (Necessity is the mother of invention!)

Is there any other work that's been done with espresso since the 1994
version on the web site mentioned? If you know of any, or have done
something with it yourself, please let me know so that we can perhaps
combine our efforts.

Regardless, I plan on continuing to clean up the Makefiles (perhaps
converting to automake) and will announce here when I have an updated
tarball available for download somewhere.

Ed
