Yes, it was. That was my full intent. To show that this was a group
where no sane person would remain. For the most part, they haven't.
Now it's a circle jerk, and you're in.

No, dear. I said I never *called* anyone a troll--past tense. Now I
have, and you most certainly are one.

You once crowed over how a poster in another forum had given me all
kinds of ****. He's dead now. One of my many errors, was to misquote
the speed of light by a factor of three. I expended all my energy
making sure I got the exponent right, as I am forever confusing
centimeters and meters. I'm absent-minded, a common trait in certain
kinds of minds--not generally thought of as stupid.
Dimensional quantities don't come up much in the kind of work I do. I
do, however, know the speed of light, but, in the heat of posting, I
can say just about anything. What does that prove? As G C Rota said,
I'll give anyone a factor of 2 or pi. I wouldn't make a very good
proofreader, and one of the things I find attractive about computers
is that calculations can be automated.
A focus on details like that is not a sign of intelligence to me.
Your mileage obviously varies. I didn't think Dennis O'Connor was all
that bright, either.
Your constant attacks wore themselves out on me a long time ago. You
plainly do not think much of me, but I really don't care. Your
bottomless well of nastiness tells me that there's probably something
wrong in your *** life or that you should be seeing a therapist, or
both.
Robert.
