I've been using OE and somehow it got turned off.  Sorry about that. 
I looked for the menu to turn it back on but it seems well hidden.  I 
will try again, although hints are appreciated.  Or maybe I will just 
switch to Tbird.  I've used it intermittently and don't really know 
why I haven't switched.
