I used internet and newsgroups long before ebay even existed. I used
to buy stuff directly on the newsgroups, and never had a problem with
anything. Then I started to use ebay. I'd estimate that half of
everything I ever bought on ebay has been junk, defective, or at least
not as advertised. The other half was mostly books, which is about
the only halfway safe thing to buy on ebay. The worst have been any
and all electrical items. From a power saw that was literally broken
in half, to a totally dead floppy drive, to defecive memory, a dead
camera card, and more. This dont include the costly computer that
literally went up in smoke when I plugged it in. None of these were
damaged in ****pping. only one seller partly reimbursed me. If you
only sell on ebay, you wont get my money. I closed my ebay account
forever, right after paypal ****ed me out of $50 by locking my account
simply because I changed my email address (when I changed my isp). I
will have absolutely nothing to do with ebay, paypal, or any company
associated with them. Ebay is *** NOT *** where *** ALL *** the
buyers go.
