Well, that is an understatement.

Put the head drum from the older working VCR into the newer one, there
was no signal on the face plate for "HiFi".

So I put it back into the - what was working unit - and NO HiIFi.

Don't know what happened, but the newer VCR fried something in the
older ones head drum.

Now I have 2 Panasonics that don't work. :(
