I have a doubt about pin diode: if intrinsic region is much short
(more than one order ) respect to diffusion lenght in its region, is
it possible consider its I-V plot egual to I-V p/n junction plot?I
think that if electrons and holes don't recombine in intrisic region
(because their diffusion lenght is longer ther intrinsic region), they
reach quasi neutral regions and recombine for diffusion...so
generation-recombination current in i-region is negligible....is this
right?
